The progressive muscle relaxation technique will help you become more aware of muscle tension caused by stress. This relaxation session includes a virtual reality journey for progressive muscle relaxation of 8 or 12 muscle groups

We start from the assumption that muscle tension is the psychological response of the body to anxiety-provoking thoughts, and that muscle relaxation blocks anxiety.

When you are in a situation that produces fear or pressure, certain parts of your body tense up automatically without you realizing it. The higher the psychological tension caused by factors such as stress, fear, or anger, the more pronounced the muscle tension becomes. This is why muscle blocks appear, often accompanied by pain and psychosomatic disturbances.

During this exercise, you will use 3D projection goggles and headphones in order to experience stimulation of all of your senses. You will be guided at all times by a psychotherapist, and while you breathe long, slow, and deep breaths, you will gradually relax each part of your body.
